What do you guys think of this? https://consumerist.com/2016/10/20/l...-to-his-death/

My take: I bet this guy was well known for leaving shit all over the place in the bathroom at Walgreens and the employees finally got fed up. The widow says the store employees were well aware of his physical ailments... yeah, I bet they were. I wonder why they haven't specified how he died.

Anyway, my sympathy is rather limited. Adult diapers exist for a reason.

The article says he was a "regular customer". Doesn't sound regular to me.

What should he have done? Depends.
This site proves Corey Taylor right. Man really is a "four letter word."

They were ineffective. One-A-Day is good enough for vitamins and he was eating two and still going everywhere!

I agree...that makes the most sense.

It sounds like we have another argument for loser pays

Sounds like that Walgreens location was at the corner of unappy (the workers) and unhealthy (the shitter).

So the argument is that cleaning up poo is a literal death sentence. And prove to me that those employees really forced him to do that. I can barely get customers to successfully use a chip and pin machine, I can't imagine what they'd do if I got a mop.

No way in hell things happened as described. Making a customer clean up his own bodily functions, unpaid, is kind of illegal.

I'm with Irv on this one. There's no way we'd make customers clean up their own mess, especially one that is big. For me, even if a customer offers to clean up their own mess I tell them no and do it myself. Besides I know my management is more concerned with keeping customers happy than the employees. And if there is any truth to this story, the employees are assholes.
I would have a nice day, but I have other things to do.
