So about a week ago I witness a guy come in with a pal of his and break into the Home E lockup a steal a video game. There was no LPO on at the time so i was unable to act on it other then telling them to get the eff out of my store. Unfortunatly when im alone for stuff like this I get nervouse as people regard me as the 'teddy bear' type. Letting those two walk irritated me for the next few days.
About two days ago I see one of them in the store again. This time after feeling bad about my lack of action last time i started to tail him. He noticed of course as I was making it very obviouse. He asked me where something was and i told him, of course, but I then commented "So how do you like your Wii?" (he stole from the Wii cage earlier) Get this though. HE DIDNT CATCH ON.
I see him today and my LPO is on. I tell him of what i observed the past week and he tails the guy. I get a call 15 minutes later from my manager saying the LPO may need my help in an arrest. while we are tailing the guy I accidently made eye contact and he of course recognixzed me. Gues what? HE DIDNT CATCH ON!
After a half hour of us tailing him he finally left the store and we got him for trespassing and about $400.00 worth of merch on him.
Made me so happy :P
