  • Scientists show future events decide what happens in the past

Wow! This was a fascinating article to me! It's got some pretty heavy, "mess with your head" kind of stuff in it, but it's worth a read if you're into physics (specifically Quantum Physics).

This article has a misleading title. The idea behind this is in no way new; "Schrodinger's Cat" is a thought experiment on the subject. The experiment referred to in the article returned results consistent with the idea, though it doesn't "prove" it.

I thought the subject of this thread was perhaps referring to the work done back in the late 1940s on Thiotimoline. The major peculiarity of this chemical is its "endochronicity": it starts dissolving before it makes contact with water.

"reality does not exist if you are not looking at it.”

How does that explain blind people interacting with the world?

They experience an alternate reality, one based on smells, touch and hearing.

Actually, Schrödinger's Cat exists in three states: Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious! (p67)

I think that was badly phrased. I think it was more like "reality does not exist if you are not perceiving it."

Yeah probably. It was also an oversimplification of the whole thing, but I like to point out these things
