  • Paying 4.5 milion dollars cash for a house...

That's 4.5 million for every working brain cell you have.

Just a minor one but this just makes me wonder how someone is able to work and be able to have that much ready cash and still be as dumb as a rock.

I'm working as an escrow agent in Southern CA. Part of my job is to send out the opening escrow documents to the buyers, sellers and agents at the start of escrow. I also highlight and/or mark every line where the buyer or seller needs to provide information. It's SUPPOSED to make it easier and faster for them to complete the mountain of paperwork involved.

And yet, more often than it should, I get asked the following question:

"The place where it has my name under the signature line, is that where I sign?"

    Oy!

No that's where you lick it, thus leaving some of your DNA on it.... On second thoughts I wonder if their DNA can be distinguished from slime?

Sometimes I think their DNA can be traced back to a brother and sister. And not too far back, either!

Darn, that brings back memories of the city council car parking department.

I lost count of the number of times I'd slide an application form over to someone, saying, 'If you'd just start by filling in your name and address' and get in return 'Where do I put that?'
My tongue was raw from biting back the reply 'Well, how about that part where it says 'Name and address', do you think that might be a good choice?'

It might just be because I don't have that much life experience yet, but I couldn't even picture spending $4.5 million on anything, let alone paying with cash!

Simple. Like the Kardashians, they market themselves to people even dumber than they are Well that, and because stupidity tends to be rewarded in general.

In that case, someone took some dynamite and blew open the bottom because it seems as if people in general are getting dumber by the second.
