So i just got a job (yay seasonal retail work) and as you know you need to show proof you can work in the united states.
Look for ss card, hmmmm i appear to have put that into a box and or lost it.
Ok, Birth certificate.
Oh thats also in box and or lost.....

Ok I head to the public health department and get a copy of my birth certificate, took 15 minutes
Head to SSA get in a request for a new SS card, took 10 minutes.
The last time i had to talk some from my bank, or some other company it took 30 minutes just to get started.
I understand all the security bs, but if i can get all the materials needed to steal my identity in 25 minutes it shouldn't be easier than ordering new checks.
