  • Stop paying me so much!!

As many of you know I am trying to qualify for an apartment with an income cap for the first year. I just noticed on my last paycheck that they paid me for 8 hours of overtime I absolutely did not work. I only worked one hour and that's already listed; this is extra. The only reason I think it could be legit is if it's retroactive for the entire year. Whatever; I don't care if it is legit or if it's not and they have to correct it by docking it later. What I do care about is having 6 consecutive paystubs that show what I actually make so I can prove I don't go above the cap. Payroll is screwing that up. Ugh. I now have no idea how much my next paycheck will be but I hope I'm under the cap. I just can't even right now.

Go to HR and point the overage out to them? They may well be willing to correct that right away.

I'm considering it may be the answer I'm looking for: a no.
