YouTube and cats

So I'm sitting here watching another scary video on YouTube, and there's a girl creeping through a darkened house with a flashlight (why don't they ever just TURN THE LIGHTS ON?!) And there's weird little whimpering noises and I'm thinking, "Okay, this is starting to spook me out a bit *too* much" so I shut down the window.

And the weird little whimpering noises don't stop.

And that's when I realize that what I'm actually hearing are high-pitched little kitty snores, from the cat snoozing on top of the filing cabinet ... which is right next to the monitor.

I can relate, I was playing Subnautica and was hearing wierd and scary noises while exploring a cave and running out off power to my lamp, the noise was the cat i'm petsitting complaining that i was still awake

Several of Minecraft's monster sounds are based on the sleeping noises of a developer's cat. They're pretty creepy noises.

Lol I remember when I was watched a youtube vid and it was dark.
Me: *getting closer and closer to the scream*
Kitty: MEOW! *jumps at me*
Jumpscare: *ROAR*
Me: AHHH! *falls*
Kitty: :3 ???
I don't think cats know they can jump and scare the beejesus out of people.
