The lineups were a mess today and boy do I need to vent.
#1: The CSM was going back and forth at the service desk helping a customer and a humorous prick at the self serve. He needed some assistence as he was busy with the lady in Courtesy so he tries to divert his attention by not scanning any of the items and putting it in the bags. A customer caught him doing that and tries to flag down the CSM. He sees the situation and the SC comes and get impatien and argues with the CSM, he comes over and finally authorizes his purchase.
Bagging unpaid groceries shows your entitlement as a shoplifter and not a customer trying to be amusing for attention.
#2: Please people PLEASE if you know that you have an item without a UPC then you should get another one that has one. Laziness is not an excuse. A lot of us make a mistake of bringing an items without a UPC but saying out loud that you know that it doesn't have a barcode and bringing it to the till shows how stupid you are.
#3: We now have a stupid policy that every customer that doesn't want a perishable we Claim it and throw it out. Customer doesn't want this perishable item at my till so I tell her that we have to throw it out anyways. She talks to me in this "I'm not getting paid to come here, you are"attitude "Well it's not my fault you can't have someone come and pick it up."

If you knew it was a Parishable you damn well should realize that it needs to go back. Don't get lazy with me and assume that you think it's your fault even though it is
. Customer entitlement attitude crap is not an excuse. Same with fast food places we have signs saying to please put your garbage away... same sh*t.
