Yeeks!Shooting at our church

Last year in lockdown,I joined a lovely little church in Texas online. Friday night, there was suddenly loads of action online-there were loads of police cars descending on it and people trying to work out what was going on. Apparently, there had been a 'dispute' outside the apartments next to the parking lot-some dispute it seems
One guy shot dead and a 5 year old lad with head injuries, apparently from a bullet 'grazing his skull'

That's awful ☹️ My kids' Catholic school + church is next to a conpkex where there has been one murder and 2 nonfatal shootings in the past 3 years (at night, not during the school day). And for extra fun there was attempted kidnapping at a complex across the street and a rape suspect arrest in the same apartments. The amount of violence in this town is out of all proportion to its size. I completely trust the school to keep my kids safe but I feel terrible for the other kids living in those apartments 😭

Well, that trumps our mall shooting. I hope that child is OK. I've had brain injuries and have lasting effects. Our shooting was a dispute as well. People are losing it.
