Hey there everybody! I'm Arac, and I found my way here through Jennie Breeden's wonderful comics. When I saw the forum I just had to join in.
I work at a small bank that caters primarily to small business and REALLY rich locals. Even worse, a lot of our customers are friends of either the bank's president or a member of the board of directors. And they're WHINY!!!
I'm not going specific stories in this thread, but I will note one of my favorite customer whines (which happens all the time):
Customer: You put a $10/$15/$20/$50 fee on my account because I overdrafted/bounced a check/asked you to do research/deposited a foriegn check/etc. I'm a friend of the president, and I want you to waive this fee. Right now. *whine whine*
What I really want to do is tell them to go *censored* themselves, especially given that at the same time, they're making deposits that are more than my SALARY.
Because I like my job, what I usually do is refer them to the manager.
In any case, I have lots of stories and get more every day, so I'll be around a lot. Also, I worked at a Hallmark in the past, so I can dredge up from stories from there too. *shudder*.
