Had a woman like this yesterday, told her the item she wanted wasn't on offer but probably would be tomorrow. This was at about 5:15, so 15 minutes before close anyway.
Her:"but I cam in specially for this!"
Me:"Oh, sorry about that. As I said, it will probably be half price tomorrow."
Her:"I can't get in tomorrow!"
Me:"Our offers usually run for about three weeks"
Her:"Can't you give it to me for half price NOW?"
Me:"No, sorry. It's all done automatically."
Her:"But I came in SPECIALLY!"
Repeat ad nauseum.
