  • She'll remember this conversation when someone steals her credit card

And she'll realize that I was right and that she was a bitch. I guarantee it.

Policy is that you have to be the card holder to sign and you have to show ID. So when irritated-before-he-even-set-foot-in-the-door-asshat presented me with his girlfriends card and informed me she was out in the car, I knew it was going to be fun when I told him that she needed to come in, sign and show me ID.

    Out he storms.

She comes in with much the same attitude and snarky comments.

"Look" I said, "if someone else were attempting to use your card fraudulently and I ID'd them, you'd be thanking me for preventing fraud on your credit card".

    "Oh no I wouldn't!!!!"

    "Yes you would", I said.

And when she came out of the bathroom she couldn't resist letting me know just one more time that she "wouldn't thank" me.

    "Yes you would"

Maybe she WANTS her credit card to get stolen.... It's the only thing I can think of. Or maybe she just thinks there is no way a mere cashier could ever be right.

She's just setting herself up for her boyfriend to steal her ID and credit cards and go on a shopping spree.
        "I call murder on that!"

Tempted as I am to teach her a lesson, life will do it for me.

this sounds just like what happend to me a few days ago. i put a thread up about it.

              http://www.customerssuck.com/board/s...ad.php?t=18755

and then there was the lady who was pretty mad at me for not letting her son use her card. she had to come in from about 20 mi away to sign for his tires. when she got there she said she was pretty pissed till she got about halfway here and realized she would not think the same thing if it were not her son using the card. and then thanked me for being so presistant for carding him.
