  • Sucky Customer...in Germany! May offend

This one is very strange. This post will also contain some words that may offend. You were warned.

The other day this old lady came into the shop with a Christmas List from her grandson, who lives in Germany. This lady had to have been in her 80's. I did not deal with her, but a co-worker did. The lady had to go to the toilet and left the Christmas List with my co-worker so she could start looking up all the gifts that were on it. There were many.

The list was addressed to Santa Claus, but in German. Then all the CD's, DVD's and books that the kid wanted were listed below. Some books were a bit strange for a kid to want as they dealt with the Holocaust. Especially strange for a German kid, seeing as how anything Holocaust related (as far as I know) is banned in Germany. This wasn't what was so bad. No, the last paragraph was what was discusting! It read something along the lines of......

I would like to thank you for favoring me of all the kids in the world. You put me above all the poor Africans, evil Muslims and greedy Jews in the world and I am grateful. You make us European Christians happy. The world humbly recieves your discrimination.

Now, three of us read this and are all thinking "what the fuck"?! We didn't know how to take it.

Joke played on us? Maybe, but the grandma was very old and didn't seem like the type to joke nor did she act strange at all.

Joke played on grandma? Maybe, but it would be a pretty horrible and nasty joke!

    Real?
If so, then the kid deserves nothing but a castration and the grandma must be warned not to take this list into any other shops!

A co-worker said that when the grandma got back, she would warn her not to go waving it around like it was any old list, as she might meet the wrong person and get into trouble.

Well, grandma came back and my co-worker asked her if she had read the entire list. The grandma said "no" at first, then changed that answer to "I read a bit". Co-worker asked if she read the last paragraph and if she understood how it was very offrensive. Grandma kinda just nodded and smiled. Wethinks (haha...see what I did there?) she be senile....but that is not the point.

The point is that the little bastard should know better than to send this shit to his lovely grandma (who, by the way, spent over £200.00 on his books and entertainment items) living in England where this kind of shit is not tolerated and so should his parents. If it is real. If it is not real, then I can't come up with any explanation as to how this could have been a joke, because there is no one to be "joking on".

    Any ideas?

    Absolutely discusting!!!!!!!

When I read it, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I mean, the grandma seemed completely unaware that anything was wrong (either she was senile, or she agreed with him....) my co-worker and I decided that it must have been a very, very tasteless joke. It makes me feel a little less guilty about having helped this old lady spend a silly amount of money gifting her neo-nazi shithead of a grandchild.

In all my time working at Smith's I've never encountered anything that disturbing.

      Signed, your pal,
      A. Hitler

P.S.-I have been very good this year.

Yikes. But you know the kid is getting it from somebody else--like his parents.
