I heard about this while I was cashing out today.
So there was a man in the store today offering customers the use of "his" credit card.
Since we have credit and debit only lines, he was scanning the lines trying to find people who weren't paying attention to the sign and intended to pay with cash, and was offering that he take the cash, and in return he would let them use his credit card so they wouldn't have to wait in line again.
A customer who was approached by this man told one of the cashiers, who promptly called LP.
The man was hauled out, though not before retrieving his bag.
A large, very full hockey bag that he had left sitting somewhere near the entrance.
Apparently there was a second man doing this as well, but he was never caught.
Methinks they were together and once one was booted out he got ahold of the other guy and told him to leave as well.
Why LP didn't call the cops is beyond me, but then again the new LP coworkers (minus the one great one) really, really blow.
