I had this discussion today, if I had not taken this call, it would have been counted against my sales numbers for the week, because another rep would have sent out a new order at our expense.
Me: Company Welcoming Phrase
SC: I placed an order for two different forms, at 500 each, but I only received one form at 1,000. I want a new order, with what I wanted originally, at your expense here tomorrow.
Me: Let me check ma'am, well I see that I took this order originally, and when we spoke I explained to you that you cannot get a bulk rate discount for ordering 1,000 count of two different forms, only if you order 1,000 count of the same form.
SC: That's not what I said, I said I wanted two different forms at 500, there must have been a miscommunication on your part.
Me: Ma'am I see in the notes in the order, that the rep, that would be me, asked you three times if this is what you wanted, and you said yes, three times.
SC: I didn't say that, I would like to talk to your supervisor.
Me: Yes Ma'am I will explain the situation, I need to put you on hold for a minute, so he can pull up the recording of the call from when the order was placed. So that he will be completely informed of the situation and be able to solve if for you totally.
