  • CREEPY! ICK!

Why does the boss' wife server people like this? She's only at the front desk twice a week so I guess she doesn't care how creepy people are. This guy sounds like a serial killer on the phone, is rude, and literally sat there and STARED at the front desk girl when I left with his computer. I had thought he was going to ask her a question, but apparently he just stood there and STARED at her for a bit. What a creep! I'm scared to work on his computer in case I find the location of a dead body or something!

Damn that is creepy. I wouldn't want to work on his computer, either

I've had the staring ones before. They always give me the chills.

I'm sure they aren't malevolent. They just lack knowledge of certain social protocol. We all know to avert our eyes when we're not speaking to someone. But they don't. All they know is that people are more interesting to look at than potted plants. Ask any six-month old!

Ugh, even eye contact bothers me a little bit (sorry, habit I really can't get myself into). But I deal with it. But full on staring? That gives me the creeps....

I've had to "clean" the computers before they get put for sale out on the floor. I did find porno on one machine before ... with a small children's Barbie-type game (as well as several others) on the same machine (under the same user name even - it was a poor, cluttered machine, ran very slowly). I deleted the porn as quickly as I could, although I guess I should have skimmed it for anything incriminating ....

I had casually joked about finding porn, as well as a few games, on the machine. The store owner couldn't help but ask, "did you clean off the keyboard first?"

These events took place yesterday. He had no reason to be there anymore since I had taken his computer and told him it would be ready today. He was literally only a couple feet away from her, just standing there staring. At the time I thought he wanted to ask her some questions or something, but she told me later he just stood there and stared.

He came back and picked up his computer. As expected he whined about the price. I didn't really find anything. I noticed some voyeur-ish thumbnails while I was copying his crap back to the computer though. With both of our social retardation combined I ended up rambling for a long while with nobody to stop me.

I'd rather not talk about some of the stuff I've found on people's computers. Mostly it's nothing much, but sometimes...

            -EDIT-

It appears someone has set the alarm to the shop even though I'm still here... Good thing I remember my code.

I got stares from my girlfriends supervisor when I used to wait outside her workplace for her at the end of the working day, instead of coming up and asking me who I was or what I was up to she instead merely continued to stare.

Oh...I thought he was waiting for his computer.

If all business was concluded...that ups the creepiness factor by about 100.
