  • No free goodies for you

Something reminded me of this incident a while back.

We sell tire chains, installs if they want them and installs all by themselves. 98% of the time the installs are for chains we sell. You have to pay in the store and then go out to the chain area which means I'm usually repeating myself over and over all night long.

Woman comes in and she's obviously in a pissy mood. I'm used to it, people put themselves in this position and then want to blame us. It happens every damn storm. What she wanted to pay for was an install but she wasn't making herself very clear at all, especially when she said the words "chain" and "install" in the same sentence but not telling me she had her own chains. I literally had to ask her to repeat what exactly she wanted two more times before finally understanding that she had her own chains and just wanted an installation. So I get it right and I did say "sorry" to her. She was so pissy and rude that I meant it in a 'sorry but you're not very clear and you need to take half the blame here for this'. She took it to mean 'repeat yourself again'.
At that point I give up, ring her up and as I'm handing her the receipt I tell her, "I hope your night gets better".
And I meant it. I really did.
    She responded with, "F* you".

So a few minutes later I wander out to the chain area and my husband was dealing with her. She was not the rude bitch to him that she was to me and he was telling her to feel free to grab a cup of coffee in the store if she wanted.
I walked by the window, leaned in to her and said, "Don't even think about it".

Husband looked at me and I proceeded to tell him, in front of her and her son, how rude she was in the store. He said, "Oh.... ok then you're ready to go".

That is what she was hoping. In a manner of speaking she was hoping that he was "thinking" about it..... wink, wink, if you know what I mean.

Sorry to all the cheerleaders that I am about to offend, but that was the typical cheerleader attitude...... other women are beneath me and their men worship me from afar and will do anything to appease me in hopes of gaining one momemt of pleasure with me.

Bottom line, she was playing up the helpless, desirable female with the available male. Next time you see her just go ahead and install that chained chasity belt. It will solve all her problems.

Lol, well, he has been offered other things in exchange for paying for the chains/install. I've no worries though, he'd prefer the money. Although he does know to accept the occasional bottle of wine.
