  • Toddler... in an adult body

*sigh* This weirdo held up a queue for about ten minutes the other day, cuz he thought that a particular brand of coffee was on special offer. Yes, there was a special offer on that brand... about a month ago! -.- Anyway, he insisted that I call a supervisor over, cuz he said I was wrong and didn't know what I was talking about when I told him the offer had ended.

The supervisor came over and told him the exact same thing I did. The guy then shouted, "Well, f you then!" and stormed out of the store, leaving all his shopping behind. Meaning that two supervisors had to take time out to put it all back. And all over coffee. You'd think that most people would leave the toddler tantrums behind after growing into adulthood.

Nope ... especially when it comes to crack ... er, caffeine.

On behalf of all the "normal" caffeine addicts, I apologize for that dolt. Preferring one kind/brand is fine, but throwing a hissyfit when that one brand isn't on sale? There are other kinds of coffee out there!

Happens all the time. I usually force the customer to eat everything in the cart, wrappers and all, food items or not.

Well, I might just imagine doing that.
Excuse me, good sir paladin, can you direct me to your EVIL district?

            Wow. I love coffee, but

I just have to know - how much was the potential savings? Not that throwing a big-baby tantrum would be acceptable regardless of the amount, but I'd really like to know.

Knowing UK supermarkets, probably no more than 30-50p

He didn't even need another kind of coffee, they weren't out, he just wasn't saving that whole $0.30 off it

Wow...that big tantrum over a sale for coffee?? That shows how "mature" that SC was.

Think it was a whole 98 pence. Not worth dropping the dummy, in my opinion.
