  • Now I need to vent!

    Preface:

As I've said before I LOVE my job at MAW. It's a great place to work and the org. does good things.

    But some of our "donors"...

I had a "lady" call today representing some group (read empty, over-privileged, bitches) about wanting to make a "substantial donation" for our Adopt-A-Wish program, wherein they pay all expenses for a wish.
Normally, this works by having the donor(s) pay for the next wish coming up for the next child.
But that wasn't good enough for these CU Next Tuesdays. They wanted to pick the child from pictures. It had to be a girl. Between 6 and 8 years old and they didn't want one that "Looks" too sick and she has to be able to walk on her own. And the bitches wanted to go on the wish trip with the girl and her family so they could take pictures. HELLO?!!!
This is about the CHILD you useless piece of Louis Vuitton Carrion! And usually, the child has been going through hell and just wants to do something normal like other kids with thir family.

I transferred her the the AAW dept. and went out for a VERY long smoke break and prayed that these bitches all died in the same fire.

Seriously. That ticks me off just reading about it. Some people just get off on showing the world what good people they are and they want to be able to show everyone else and document it. At that point its no longer charity but show boating if you ask me.

That's terrible. It sounds like they thought that by donating, they had the right to "rent" the kid. Even if they are paying for it, how dare they force themselves into a dying child's family trip? Ugh, selfishness disguised as charity.

wow, that is a huge steaming pile of self serving nonsense right there; charity is about helping others, not promoting one's own 'generosity.'

too many forget that, it seems; if there's no benefit for them, they pass on it altogether.
        look! it's ghengis khan!
Sorry, but while I can do many things, extracting heads from anuses isn't one of them. (so sayeth the irv)

You guys are being way to harsh. Just think of what those pictures are going to do for these fine ladies standing at the local country club!

For some reason an episode of South Park just popped into my head. Specifically, the episode during which Paris Hilton kidnaps Butters to be her new pet.

How true! Because, of course, she couldn't possibly be *normal* carrion.

And we all know what happened at the end. Mr. Slave did the most amazing thing with Paris and and an orifice of his body that's normally Exit Only.

Yeah... didn't some Jewish carpenter have some choice words to say about a similar situation?

Now I'm picturing how the Good Samaritan story would have turned out if these women had been the ones to "help". They would have made God and atheist!!

To be fair, he was sold. She had a million dollars, and he didn't, so he had to be her dog. I love that episode, makes me giggle every time. Which prolly says more about my parenting than is healthy.
