  • okay...sing to me?

I'm not quite sure if this is sucky or not...to me it was pretty weird and funny.

One of my customers sang to me last night. At work. While his wife was sitting across from him.

I didn't know what to say to that...partially because I was too busy trying not to laugh at the ridiculousness of it all. I just picked up their empty plate, he told me I was pretty (I tried to deny it) and then...POOF! He was singing.

In some situations, that would be adorable.

Wow - I'm jealous! I can't get people to sing to me when I ask them to...

Hopefully it wasn't "Do ya think I'm sexy?"

              Mercifully, no. Thank goodness.

He told me the title of the song, but I was too embarassed to really remember it...I think it was something by Sinatra, but I'm not positive.

I hope it was not Bob Dylan's "Positively 4th street"

                  which ends:

I wish that for just one time you could stand inside my shoes
And just for that one moment I could be you
Yeah, I wish that for just one time you could stand inside my shoes
You'd know what a drag it is to see you

If I were ever tasked to sing for someone, as long as I knew the song, I'd probably just start belting it out, to get the song out of my head quickly. Plus, meh, I enjoy singing.

I enjoy but i fail at it so i refuse to sing at the present time, only a few songs would ever get me close to singing and nobody ever asks for anime theme songs

I used to sing for customers. I kinda suck at it, but when the radio was going and i knew the song I'd sing along with it. I even got two little kids singing with me once!

I was applauded for my "stupid stuff" like that more than once.

Had some guys sing "Hello, I Love You" to me on the pier down in Myrtle Beach one night. I have no idea who they were, but I admire their boldness and sense of humor.
