Where Are Your Manners?

My mom & I both work at the same place, and this actually happened to her, but I figured it was worth posting.

Now, my mom is one of those people who pulls no punches, and says whatever comes to mind, regardless of the situation. Add to that the fact that she is only 5'1" tall, and that most of her customers are twice her size (she works in men's wear)

M: My hard working mother
SC: Neanderthal Man

SC: Hey! (gestures towards fitting rooms)
M: Excuse me? And just what rock did you just crawl out from under, that you have absolutely no manners? You might as well have said "Yo b***h!

I wish I could have seen the look on the guy's face when she said that! Priceless!

I can see that the customer was rude... but everything your mom said after "Excuse me" might just get her in trouble with her boss. :/

I'm wondering where his manners went to as well .... I hate it when people say one word or a grunt accompanied with gestures. I mean, geez, we're not Neanderthals here ...

The swear word was probably a little over the top, but then again, I guess it all depends on how the "hey" and gesture were delivered ...

Your mother has got the pow-wah! Wish I could get away with that type of retort at Flowers-O-Suck. However the doctor just put me on a months high dose course of steroids so I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm about to utter similar things unless there are some Xanax involved.
