  • There's always the special ones

Some of us have been talking about the flooding going on in Iowa. This is a state that my company assists. 83 counties are in a state of emergency. This is pretty much all of the state of Iowa. Most people in Iowa are very understanding when we give them arrival times that are 3, 4, 5 hours away.

However, there's always one special one who believes that we need to stop whatever we are doing and get them service inside of 15 minutes because they have "other obligations" and absolutely do not understand why they have to wait for service. Never mind that there are a million road closures, people without homes, businesses ruined, pets lost, farms destroyed - no - that does not matter to these special people - they can't be bothered with that just get them the damn service.

If there's a hell, there's a special place for these types.
