  • I can't do something I said I can't do. I can't do it.

No, see, as I stated earlier, I cannot force other companies to update our software to the latest version.

Yes, I realize that their version of our software is a year old.

Our year old software doesn't integrate with the US Postal service automatically. It was an Add-On Module that you had to pay for. Yes, it's now an included feature in 9.0. No, that does not entitle it to you for free. Because your hosting company uses the old version, the 8.3 version, that's why.

Well, you get what you pay for.

Because that hosting company isn't worth much, but you only pay $300 a year for it.

$300 a year is not that much, you big baby. It's giving you access to software that normally costs $100 a month.

Oh, sorry, you feel entitled to that software for free because the year old version doesn't have all the features of the new version. You feel it should be updated.

It WAS updated. That's why it's now called 9.0.

This is our fault? You are mad at us for upgrading. Are you serious.

You think that---you know what? Stop talking. We've had this conversation TWICE now. You don't want to switch to a new host because you are paying for your current host. Your current host sucks, and you want to switch host, but refer to that last sentence incessantly.

I don't care. Tell me how you got this number so I can yell at whoever gave it to you. You are with that hosting company. You should be SPEAKING to that hosting company.

They don't help. They don't know anything.

You know what? MAYBE you should have taken that into your calculations when you chose a company that offers our software at a FIFTH of the actual cost. It's not like the software you are currently using is broken, it's just not updated.

I don't upgrade all my software at home every time there is a new version. At least I don't call up Adobe or Microsoft and yell at them for upgrading and not upgrading me.

    SCREW YOU.

Ugh, sorry, I just got 3 sucky customers in a ROW, and I need a break.

If there’s one thing women love, it’s the guy that just can’t seem to find the line that divides “Ha Ha” and “Stacey, get your purse, we’re leaving before he comes back.”.

Three in a row about the same issue, or just three in a row with different issues, but this one being the worse ?

Anyway, you have my sympathy. I sincerely hope it gets better.
