  • Guitar Hero for DS question

So I bought the game used (I know....) and when I went to plug the grip thing into my DS, it was that moment I realized the game comes with an adapter to fit into the older "phat" style DS and that was the only thing missing I sent an email to the guy I bought it from if he has it, but I'm not expecting a positive reply (and really it's my fault for not asking in the first place so he does kind of have the right to tell me to go pound sand).

So does anyone own this game and a DS Lite and have an un-needed adapter lying around? I'd pay the shipping for anyone willing to help me out. Right now I'm being mocked by the "you can't rock without the guitar grip" screen and it's killing me!

If I didn't already have a DS, and could afford it, I'd get the Guitar Hero On Tour edition. As it is I've put off getting the actual game for a few weeks so I can both go to a convention and pay my power bill.

I was all excited about it till it came out and I realized its more like Carpal Tunnel Hero and the audio is crap. =/

The sound can be fixed with a decent pair of headphones but you're right about carpal tunnel. The booklet advises that you just play for 15 minutes at a time but it doesn't say that you can ONLY play for 15 minutes at a time and then your hand is useless for an hour afterword .

I think it depends on if you are used to GH on a normal 3rd gen console, even bigger factor if you have a TV that would make nasa proud. We've got GH for the Wii and for the DS and I have found that I kinda suck at both, but the DS one is cool cause you don't have to take over the TV to play it and can do it anywhere.

But it does flair up the arthritis in the fingers even worse then Mario Kart DS does. Now Lego Starwars, thats the shiznit right there
