Me: Ok the concierge can do that for you but she is out sick today

Guest: so what do I do?

Me: leave her a message or call back tommorow or if you like I can give you the number to the activity center directly

Guest: So I have to do it myself? Thats not very accomodating

Me: Ok then you can speak with the concierge

Guest: now?

Me: no tommorow

Guest: well isnt there like an emergency concierge?

Me: (trying not to laugh) no ma'am

Guest: well I just dont know how to proceed with this.....what do you suggest? (I suggest getting off my phone)

Me: call the concierge tommorow or leave her a message

Guest: well ok I will leave her a message but I want you to know I am doing this under protest

at least the lady didn't demand that the concierge had no right to be sick and demand a discount, or demand you drag her in anyway and force her to work

the way some of your other customers have acted, it wouldn't have surprised me.
