A few weeks ago I was in line at a verizon wireless store buying a new phone and adding a line to my plan. There was one girl working behind the counter and one guy in front of me in line. He exuded all the signs of a total jackass.
I dont remember the details but his life-shattering dilemma was basically this: he bought a cell phone on ebay, it didnt work when it arrived, so he takes it into this verizon store to return it. Ok I'm no genius but I think I might question this process.
He began ranting and raving at the girl about how since its a verizon phone, he is entitled to a full refund (he spent in the neighborhood of $300, and didnt have a reciept) even though he purchased it online from a seller who had nothing to do with the store he was presently standing in nearly frothing at the mouth.
The girl was patiently trying to explain to him what a "franchise" is and why it doesnt work that way. She tried to get his phone activated for him and fix it herself, but she couldnt access his plan because he wouldnt give her his social security number. So he was pretty much effing himself in the A.
Rinse repeat this ill-fated convo about 6-7 times.
I told him if he made the girl repeat herself one more time I'd take his pos phone and shove it up his ass.
I think if I was a dude he would have tried to fight me. But he just gave me a murderous look and he's all, "Screw you bitches!" and took his pos phone and left. Us bitches then had a good laugh at his expense.
