Blog help needed!

I have a blog on Google Blogger. I am trying to add a widget to it, but being an HTML dummy, I don't know how to do it. Can anyone tell me how?

There should be a menu option in the design bits that says "Add widget", then just follow the instructions. Google blogger does its level best to make it a fairly easy to follow process. There's also a really good help section for it, helped me add adsense to mine no problems (after I remembered I had ad-block on...)

There's the "Add a Gadget" option, but you need a URL for that. You can go to "Edit HTML", but I'm lost in the wilds there.

AFAIK, Widgets (Mac OS, other websites) = Gadgets (Windows, Google, other websites)... a clunk of code by any other name would smell as sweet.

If what you need isn't in there, tell us what you are trying to do. Many services offer HTML code options you can paste in... depending on what it is exactly.

I figured it out. Amazon made it very easy indeed... I'm embarrassed to see how easy it was.

But hey, you never know when the advice may come in handy!
