Bogus Waiter running around

Bogus Waiter takes money from customers and leaves immediately afterwards.

Guy posing as waiter, took money from customers (at 2 different restaurants - both of the parties were paying cash) and then the guy just up and left, never returning the change to the parties. Guy ripped off customers, restaurant AND the real waiter. GRRRRR.

What the hell?! What a jackass. Though I must say, that's a pretty good idea. Never heard of that before.

Pay your waiter. The person who brought you your food. If ever in doubt, pay at the front desk.

Most places around here don't have a front desk anymore...and if they do, you can't pay at it.


One time Cheating Manwhore Of An Ex® and I were at BW3s, (I posted the story at the time) and our waitress was *awful.* So awful, that I went up to the front desk to complain about the service, and pay for the food. They *refused* to let me pay there, saying I *had* to pay my waitress, who then came up to me screeching about needing to get paid.
