1) There has not been a permanent person working the 2nd shift from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday for a while.
It is difficult to find someone to permanently work 15 hours a week. Currently the 2nd shift is being covered by two parking company employees.
Yesterday the guy who works every Tuesday and Thursday called me to ask if I could work for him because he had to attend a training class. I said yes. He told me he would let "Chris", one of the parking company managers, know that I would cover for him. According to the parking company, the manager over the account notifies the client when needed if I am working the 2nd shift. "Kim" called me yesterday at work during the 2nd shift & was surprised that I was still at work. That was when she started venting. Since she did this several weeks ago, I e-mailed "Bill", the new manager over the account, what she told me.
2) According to the contract with the university and the parking company, the parking company provides the supplies for the booth, including ink for the all-in-one printer that prints, faxes, copies, & scans. The printer ran out of ink in February. I notified the parking company manager over the account at that time of this along with the printer make and model #, but he never replaced the ink. There are times when I am e-mailed a list of people's names who will be attending an event. Since I cannot print out the information, I just write it down. "Kim" called me last week to let me know she was faxing me some information. I let her know that the printer was out of ink. She said she would notify "Bill". That was last week.
This morning she told me she would call "Bill" regarding finding a permanent person for the 2nd shift & the ink for the printer.
