I had a project today. The powers that be decided that rather than keeping the end of day statistics reports separate from the daily reports and storing them in quarterly binders was no longer how they wanted the reports stored. Rather we will keep them with the daily reports for the day they are associated with.
Now, the logical way to make this transition would be to just make the change at the end of the quarter... or even just have this quarter's binder have just the first two months...
We don't use logic here though...
We apparently have decided to make it retroactive for the beginning of THIS quarter.
Anyone want to guess what I've been doing all afternoon?
Yup, I've been going through two months worth of audit packs to add the end of day statistics reports to the daily reports that are in each pack.
Oh yeah... I stopped doing it after the first couple of envelopes, but technically every time we break the seal on an audit pack we are supposed to initial and date when we resealed it... yeah... I technically was supposed to initial and date each audit pack for the last two months to add ONE sheet of paper to each of them.
And people wonder why I drink
