I guess I'm exempt form injuries?

I have an email chain going back and fourth over who is responsible for moving people's own equipment during a move.

I have been told by the people in charge of the move that the users are responsible for moving their own equipment - not me (and I wouldn't have the time for that anyway).

One supervisor responded:

We cannot have our employees carry heavy equipment or boxes – as (company) would be liable for any injury to the employees.

Um, so I'm either immortal, exempt to injuries, or the company wouldn't be liable for my injuries?

Better, get YOUR boss to point that out.
