So just before I left work today, I got my yearly review. It was the best one I've ever had I think. Scored an "exceeds expectations" on almost half the items on the review, met expectations on all the rest, and nary a word about my...ahem...attitude.
So why did I see this coming, you ask? Because the company did away with merit raises earlier this year due to the poor economy. They'll be back again next year. Maybe. So I figured they'd lay the flattery on thick knowing they wouldn't have to pay out for it.
