Stressful!?!?!

OK, broken record now, but in case you haven't read any of my other recent threads, it is a public holiday in the UK at the moment, and a three day weekend, so we have been EXTRA busy. Lunch time was horrible, we ran out of plates and cutlery, so everything came to a complete stand-still. I ran into the kitchen to help out and do the washing up. The radio was playing in the background.

Radio: Welcome back to *radio station* and we all hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend. Now, we were just discussing how stressful these weekends can be, I mean, is there NOTHING more stressful than when you have got your hard earned weekend away, and you get stuck in traffic? I don't think there is!

Co-workers and me actually screamed. I yelled.

Me: I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO BE STUCK IN A TRAFFIC JAM RIGHT NOW!!!!!

Too bad the DJ wasn't on the premises...you and your co-workers could have taken turns smacking him. Or maybe bring back tarring and feathering?

I remember quite a few people wanting to kill (after perhaps maiming and dismembering) a DJ years ago. Southern California - torrential rains, flooding (yeah, I know it isn't uncommon, but it was SO much worse than usual that year). I was in High School, trudging thru rain, the library was half under water, you get the picture. One local DJ thought it was cute to spend his entire 4 hour show playing nothing but every "rain" song ever recorded in the history of rock n roll.
