She played Astrid in the Doctor Who (2005) Christmas Special episode between series 3 and 4. The one with the spaceship Titanic.Comment

Thanks AG. She's more noteworthy for being a singer, but she got her big break on Neighbours in the late 80's.
She also sang at the Sydney Olympics (I think) and according to one story I read somewhere, the wax statue of her at Madame Tussauds kept having all the undies pinched off of it.The best professors are mad scientists! -Zoom

england's a bit more liberal about that sort of thing these days
though to be honest i always thought Astrid was a bit of a tramp
