  • Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!

This was an SC moment I witnessed some years back. And please know I'm not making fun of big people. It's necessary to mention this because of the punchline!

Some years ago, I was at lunch and stopped at McDonald's to get something for a co-worker. The drive-thru was crazy insane, so I parked and went inside.
    Talk about crazy insane.
There were so many people you really couldn't tell where any of the lines began or ended. If I wasn't getting food for someone else, I would have left right then and there.
But, being the nice guy I am , I waited.
Standing in the line to my right is a (ahem) big-boned gal. One couldn't help noticing her not because of her size but because of her constant huffing and puffing. She wasn't out of breath; she was just POed about having to wait.
Finally, after about 5 or 10 minutes of steady huffing and puffing, she bellows, "I thought this was supposed to be FAST food!"
Without missing a beat, someone behind me replied (almost as loudly): "Yeah, and I bet you can't get it fast enough!"
It was, of course, hilarious (several people laughed out loud), but at the same time I was mortified because I thought she might turn around and think I said it!
I guess she didn't hear because she just kept on huffing and puffing.
Lucky for me, I guess. She could have smacked me down like a $2 ho without batting an eye.

I would say the smartass in the line behind you is my current hero, but he isn't.

YOU are, for titling a thread "Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!"

I bet she did hear the comment and just pretending as if she didn't!

Oh yeah, kudos for the Russ Meyers reference.
