We had a resident come in to add a newborn to her lease. While I was talking to her, one of my co-workers came into the front office and went out into the lobby to see the baby. She remarked how beautiful his hair and skin was and the resident replied, "Yea, he's beautiful but I don't know what he's mixed with".

Maybe the baby was adopted and she doesn't know its parental history?
