Guy who blocked the entrance gate to Visitor parking:
The first customer in line at the booth window was here for one of the President's events, but the guy behind her was not. I told the guy that I could not raise the gate because the garage was blocked off for events & that he would have to exit & find other parking, but he did not do that. Instead he pulled up behind the first customer. I raised the gate for her to enter the garage. Then the gate went down, & the guy literally sat inside his car at the entrance gate for a couple of minutes. Meanwhile another customer here for one of the President's events arrived, but he could not enter because the guy at the entrance gate was not moving. I told him he would have to back up & exit before he could enter since he was not here for one of the President's events. So he decides to park to the side so he is not blocking traffic. Finally the guy backs up, but he does not leave. Instead he backs up a couple of feet in front of the customer who pulled to the side. So I called campus police to let them know what happened, but I am told that a campus cop was not available. Every campus cop was busy. Then another customer here for one of the President's events arrived, but he could not enter because the guy who had backed up has not left. I tell him he cannot enter the garage until the guy actually leaves. So I call campus police again, & I tell then that 2 customers here for one of the President's events are waiting to enter the garage & that the guy who had backed up has not left. Finally a campus cop arrives & tells the guy that he has to exit.
