Many night school students park in Visitor Parking Monday through Thursday beginning around 5 p.m.
There are approximately 55 spaces in Visitor Parking. 2 of those 55 spaces are reserved for 2 university vehicles leaving 53 spaces.
According to the Outlook calendar there is a reserved event today from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. At 8:50 a.m. "Nancy" from the parking office calls me & asks if anyone here for the reserved event, a writing exhibition for one of the school districts, had arrived. At that point no one had arrived, & so she said she would call the dept. over the event. She calls me around 11 a.m. to let me know that the event time has changed. The event begins at 4 p.m. & ends at 9 p.m. 50 spaces are reserved for that event. Then there are 7 more spaces to reserve for other events beginning at 6 p.m.
The girl who works the 2nd shift from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. will have fun today.
