Ok, If I'm at work (which is pretty much all the time), and I don't answer my personal cell phone, it means I'm busy. Don't call the work phone, right away, and ask if I'm busy. Of course I'm busy. Why do you think I didn't answer my cell?

A friend of mine keeps doing this to me, even after I told him not to. He just doesn't get it. The thing is, when he calls it's not important. The slot limit on Upper Red Lake isn't a life or death issue.

After work tonight I'm going to tell him (again) not to do this. Then I'll ask him how would he like it if I called his cell, and he didn't answer, if I called his work phone and asked him if he went fishing that past weekend.

Strikes me that if he doesn't understand that work phones are not for personal calls, he probably doesn't have a work phone.

Gotta love the people who don't want to get in trouble for answering their cell phone and making callls. so they spend all day on the work phone doing personal calls. (not accusing you but it kinda goes with some people I have seen)

You forgot to mention, If you get a text and don't respond there is no need to ask the same question 10 more times until I get a second to respond.

He doesn't have a work phone, per say. He works construction, and I'd have to call the worksite where he's at, assuming there's a phone there (I honestly don't know).

Also, my cell phone is used for work and personal business, so I would have no problems with getting in trouble using it. Most everyone who works here is in the same situation, so there is no need to put a rule in place on banning cell phones.
