  • me fail

i tend to sometimes think i am not a good supervisor. im a good employee but supervisor meh.

last night it was me, CW's, C and N.

C was scheduled til 7 as me and N were til 9. so around 6:30 C asks me if he can leave early, he had said he faced the aisles that i didnt, and took care of put-backs. so i figured eh why the hell not. if i asked someone if i could leave 30 min early i'd be happy if they let me.

so i finish up my facing, and happen to walk into one of the aisles C faced. . .

it looked like crap. theres no way someone faced those aisles.

i shouldve checked before he left, but then i feel like a facing nazi if i tell someone to go do it again. but then i dont wanna have to reface something for someone. i definitely wouldnt want someone refacing something i already faced.

something else i dont get. ok so when other people face, they wont face aisle 4 which is candy, diet (HAHA), and vitamins. they just wont do it, they completely skip it and it always needs to be faced. i have no problem facing it, and get stuck with it anyways. another aisle is 5, but they actually like facing it? but the problem is they wont face the whole thing.

nobody will face the tissues, or the toothbrushes. hell, for truck nobody will put away toothbrushes. so i end up doing it. when you face you have to face everything. duhhh

next week CW D is coming back, which im not looking forward to, since she never does any work........ever. this is going to suck....

oh and inventory is the 11th woohoo

Nothing wrong with taking an employee at face value. But now that you know he was less than honest (or there was a misunderstanding), check his work next time. And make sure that when u do see him again, you let him know what you found after he left.

    I dont think u failed.
