  • Periodic Table of Imaginary Elements

    http://russellwalks.com/PTOIE.html

A good chunk of Elements from various fictional works both in visual and literary works. He is missing a couple of things like Unobtanium, and Naquadria (Though he does have Naquada and Naquadria is just an off shoot of that but whatever), but it still lists a lot of things that I haven't even heard of, so props to him.

Unobtanium is Pa off to the side.

I can't read the origins, but Maclarium ("MG") was the element used by SG1 to stabilize the star they accidentally "poisoned," right?

....if that's right, I definitely need to get out more

They even have "Chemical X" from the PP Girls!

My roommate is intrigued. She's been doing the periodic table with her class (either 4th or 5th grade, she teaches science for both).
I don't go in for ancient wisdom
I don't believe just 'cause ideas are tenacious

If he did list naquadria, would it have to be listed as artificially created?

actually according to the stargate wiki there is one world where Naquadria is naturally occurring but normally it's man (or Gou'ald) made

i notice they used Wonderflonium as the example for the closer look, heh

This is great...I ordered one for my husband, who is a huge geek and will probably recognize most of them. Now I'm thinking I should order another one for a friend of ours who is a chemist and would probably also be intrigued...
