Tuesday June 1st I woke up with a fever. There is a new parking company manager, "Mike", over the account at the university I work at as a contract parking attendant. I had to contact him that day, & I thought I had his cell number in my wallet, but I did not. So I called his direct supervisor & left him voice mail at his work extension. Then I called "Nancy" at the Parking office (the client) & left her voice mail as well as voice mail at the Parking office main phone number. "Nancy" get to work at 7 a.m. "Andrea", the Director of Parking & Transportation ("Nancy's" boss), gets to work after 8 a.m.
I was running low on timecards, & so I e-mailed "Mike" this morning. He came by with them this afternoon, & he told me what happened last Tuesday when I was sick.
1. His boss did not get to work until 9 a.m. that day
2. "Andrea" called him that day & chewed him out
I told "Mike" that I did leave the client voice mail...at the main number & at "Nancy's" voice mail since she is the first one in the office every morning.
I do not know why "Andrea" could not have checked the voice mail at the main phone number. I do not know if "Nancy" told "Andrea" that I left voice mail at the main phone number & at her extension. I would think she would have.
I now have "Mike's" cell number in my wallet.
