  • Wherin I let you on a dirty little secret...

I am very prejudiced, I just can't help it... but I honestly believe that all blind people are terrible drivers

I was sitting in my car in the Sam's Club parking lot (finished loading my stuff and waiting for my fiance to get back from putting away the cart) and here comes cokebottle classes dude who slams his cart head first into the side of my car, then proceeds to drag the cart along the entire length of my car, then does similar to another car between mine and the cart rack. Then he got into his car and proceeded to back up into a light pole that he was staring at the entire time he was backing up.

Seriously, I'm hoping that you really are visually impaired and not that stupid

Er... wow. Did you get insurance information from the genius for the damage to your car? Sounds like he gave your car a dent and scraped up the paintwork along the side before he damaged a second car and went on for property damage and damaging his own.

Yeah, did he damage your car?

He didn't do any major damage, just scratched the paint, and I already have to buy scratch repair paint anyway.

Smiley, that is an unfair stereotyping, and you should be ashamed of your blatant discrimination.

Hmm, still could have called the police because 'technically' he could have damaged the store's light pole and did leave the scene of an accident...

Seriously, do you really want this guy on the road?

I should mention that there was a tech article recently on a new technology that might allow blind people to drive. I'm not sure how I feel about that yet.

I'm sorry, but I would have gotten out of my car and demanded his insurance and ID had he crashed a cart into my car.

Sounds like a great driver, compared to the dipshits I dealt with today on I15. Good grief people around here shut their eyes and their brain before they start the car. :-/

Midorikawa, this is why I am glad I no longer need to use the 15 for my commute... I will when I start at UVU though

...if you still live in Salt Lake county, then that's going to be a pain in the ass drive. I don't envy you. I've made that drive before during rush hour. I'd hate to do it daily, but maybe that's the small town Texan in me. :-P

Next to the road where the blind people are driving?

I wonder what a small helicopter costs?

I saw this company on a documentary just last night. It's not exactly CHEAP, but...

You can get a new R-22 for somewhere between $315 - 450,000. You can probably get a deal on a used one, saw one listed for $79,900.
