  • Self-sighting tonight *sigh*

So my husband hasn't been sleeping well and never pays attention anymore due to being on third shift....it's showing really badly now.
Well, we go through the ATM because he wants pizza, and after I insist I need to eat too, he decides to drive through BK to get me some chicken fries. Ok, starts out kind of sucky...but I figure I'm just getting upset because I'm extremely hungry and I don't feel good.

We get to the drive-up order thing, and he orders my food, and a large Oreo shake. The lady says they only have small and medium, I see him fiddling in the wallet for the money so I tell him that there's only small and medium. He is like "ok, whatever. Then he looks at the screen and goes "I SAID, a large."

So both order lady and I repeat ourselves...and he's like "whatever."
Go to pay, and she asks if we needed any other sauces. I say I wanted barbecue, and she's like "Ok, got it." Then hubs has to mutter under his breath "like I said when I ordered...geez." I elbow him and we get our food. He has one of those voices that carry well, and I saw her flinch, so I know she heard it.

Then, in the exit lane, he starts complaining about the size of the shake, that he KNOWS there was large, etc. I keep telling him no, the other flavors have large, this only has two sizes under the name, so obviously, only two sizes. He goes on about how I'm wrong for another couple of minutes, then decides to go back through the drive-thru to prove me wrong....
And I point out that the Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry have three sizes, and the Oreo only has two. He admits defeat, but only after saying the classic, "well, they had a large LAST time!"
"Nope, it was medium then too...you've only recently started getting larges. Before then it was only mediums."
I love my husband to death but he is terrible sometimes.

*snugs* Sounds like he's a bit cranky from lack of sleep.

I'm thinking this is what it is, because he was cranky at church this morning too, and he only got a short nap in today instead of sleeping like he normally would. I still was upset by it all though.

Oh I don't doubt it. I would be upset over the whole thing as well.

Is he going to be able to get a nice long sleep soon?

Nope, I have to go into work early tomorrow so he doesn't get to go to sleep until 1pm tomorrow. Then he has to get up by 6 so he can come get me. I think I'll have my mum pick me up from work instead so he can get another hour...I don't like when he's super tired.

*snugs again* I hope she can, 6 hours of sleep would do more good then 5.

How come he can't sleep more during the day?

He doesn't sleep well, and he likes to be up and spending time with me before he leaves. Sometimes he watches t.v. or plays games, and sometimes he's working on the car. Right now he is being given a ton of mountain dew and he's actually pretty cheerful...so hopefully this won't happen again.
