It has just been announced this morning that the new series is going to be split in two!

I'm quite pleased that they are trying to move the show to later in the year. The last series of Doctor Who aired on some of the hottest Saturday nights of the year in the UK, so the ratings dropped a bit due to families going out, having barbecues ect.
