Crazy parking attendant (one from my mom)

Background: My mom is a lab technician at the local general hospital, she does blood testing. She mostly works nights, and spends her days sleeping or selling things on eBay (in other words, she rarely has fun and is always cranky).

My mom went in to work one night, and went into the parking garage. Being half-asleep all the time caused her to go slightly over into a reserved space without her noticing. After work, she found that whoever it was had pulled into the space pretty tightly, and she felt embarrassed. After pulling out, the parking attendant came up to her car and started bitching her out about going over into the reserved space, threatening her with parking pass revocation (yeah, and let all her patients die because they can't get tested). This bitchfest was completely unnecessary, as the person was able to get into the space anyway, no harm done. While this took place, my mom just stared at her. When the attendant was finished, my mom calmly replied "You know, I just really don't give a fuck" and drove away.

She still parks in that garage.

Where I work I am not allowed to approach anyone who...

parked in a spot they are not supposed to park in (example: the unversity president's spots *it has happened before*, in the reserved spot for the Aramark van *this has happened several times*, ect.)
was rude to me
who was a difficult customer when it was not needed
who will not pay for their parking *the customer gets to the exit gate & presses the call box; I answer the phone, & I deal with the customer*

For the customers who park in the wrong spots, that is the job of the parking enforcement guy

For the other customers, that is the job of campus police if needed. For the rude customers, police have not been involved.

The parking attendant in your post should not have done what she did. It was not necessary. I wonder if that is even part of her job.
