Class Round Up Deux (aka, 'so waddya get on your finals???')

I did very badly in school. Again.
I hate throwing shit against the wall and seeing if it sticks. At least I passed one class, and it counts towards my major.
So how did all of you school-types do this past bit? (and yes, people not in semester-type classes can chime in-- I know there's some schools, even in the U.S., that do the one-class-a-month route...)

None of my grades have been posted yet, but I'm expecting to do well. I spent all weekend grading papers that were *mostly* good. Vast majority of my students got A's and B's, which is awesome.

I don't know yet. I still have three more finals to go.

But I know that at least, going into Social Psychology final, I have a 99.2% in that class. It soothes me.

Carrying an "A" average for for for nursing - but there are still three terms left and the classes are getting harder and more intense. Ack!

Rocking a 3.444 gpa over all with a 3.75gpa this quarter (the college I attend has yet to go to semesters). One final it didn't matter what I got..but I tanked it. Got a B in the class anyhow..would have barely got an A if I aced it though..talking skin of teeth type thing.

Others I got ....

94, 100, 97 for the finals.

Taking an 'incomplete' in one of my classes. I allowed myself to get sidetracked and didn't finish most of the homework in it. x.o

In my other class (Legal Environment of Business), I have no idea. I felt ok about the final, and I know that I was passing the class last I checked. But ya never know.

Legal Enviroment of Business- A, Business Finance-D (if I'm lucky) Business Finance was hard because my professor has an accent and I could not understand him plus he talked too fast, over half the class was failing. I think I made it with a 61 percent but that is because we played the Stock Market game and my group did very well with a 9 percent return so we got 5 extra points each. Otherwise I would have failed. I am still not sure because we just took our last test yesterday and I am not sure if I did okay on it, I know I did better than my previous tests but we will see how that works into the average. I am pretty sure I will still have the 61 percent. Oh well as long as I don't have to take the damn class over again. I have talk to many of my fellow classmates who have failed his class and then have taken it online and ended up with a "A", so I know it is not just me.

I guess I'll be the first to stand up and say I know I failed something, heh. At least it was just an elective and I can take another class next semester - don't need to retake the same one. I think I did okay (B-ish) in everything else. Honestly just couldn't really make myself care that much this semester.... will be happy when I graduate next year since I'm so through with it now.

I've finished 2 classes and got A's in both. I'm very happy since once was my 6 credit class so it was important for me to get the A there. I'll likely get a B in tomorrow's class (I need a 56 to keep it). Today's class... I'm worried about passing. I think I MIGHT have passed, but I am not getting my hopes up. The grade should have been posted today but the professor posted on blackboard to not expect it until tomorrow morning at the earliest.

Overall, IF I pass today's class, I will be pleased with myself. 3.4 is a decent GPA for my first semester in nursing school. I can pull it up next semester so I have some wiggle room in my third semester (notoriously insane).

I have a 95% in my Philosophy class. Have yet to take the final or be graded for my end of term paper for the other one... I's scared.

I don't have finals until Monday, when ALL of my finals are scheduled. However, I predict the following:

My 8am Math of Finance and Business final: Probably not going to do well. However, I am taking the class again next semester, so that grade will replace the one I have currently because I WILL do better next semester.

My 1pm Black Literature in America final: Getting an A or a B, depending on how particular this professor is going to be. Usually, if you give examples that answer the question, but aren't the ones she wants, she will dock points. However, she doesn't tell us what she wants.

My 3pm Intro to Gay Studies class: Getting an A because I rock that subject.

Ok, so I know basically for sure I got an A in Dance Basics and an A in Social Psychology.

I think I got an A- in History of Psychology, it might depend on how I did on the final.

No idea on the other two yet. B-something in Psychology of Learning, but that REALLY depends on the final. Which is tomorrow.

I usually don't like group work, but the groups worked well this time - our group got 100% on one and 92% on the other.

That resulted in me getting 98% in my firewall class, and 97% in my security class. My third class was psychology, but the instructor doesn't use Blackboard to post results. I must have done well on the final, because I got an A in that class. I improved my overall GPA to 3.9 this semester!

The only disappointment was that I found out that I won't be graduating at the time I thought I was - instead of Spring of next year, I'll have to go until Winter of 2012.

You guys are gonna hate my husband. Just completed his first semester of community college. He took four classes: remedial math, intro to psych, English 101, and computer basics.

He finished this first semester with a 4.0 average.

I'm just happy that my Fitness Assessment and Weight Management class and my Gay and Lesbian Literature for Young Adults class didn't have finals.

I found out that I have a 3.3 GPA, which went down since last school year from a 3.4. Damn math class! I will be glad to be done with math so my GPA will go up!
