    I've had it on DVD for a few years now, it's great. I prefer this version of Trillian, Ford, and Slarty, and Vogoths better than the recent(ish) movie version.

    Ford in the movie was too stable for me.

      i liked the movie but... yeah i think i like this better (though marvin in the movie was awesome cos... hey it's alan rickman lol)

      but this, with the longer format, means less cutting... come to think of it, i'm not sure if they did any cutting... plus the sequences showing the Guide entries are bloody awesome
