  • Slobs...

I was at the local Burger King today getting my lunch. As I walked through the dining area, I saw no less than FOUR tables littered with empty trays, paper cups and burger wrappers. At this particular BK, the trash cans are very prominently placed by the entrances/exits and by the self-service soda fountains, so there's no way to miss them at any point in the process of ordering and then eating.

Who thinks this sort of thing is okay?

Because people say it's "the job" of employees to clean up after people with no manners. Wonder what the homes of these jerks look like.

On the other hand, when the store isn't busy and the trash cans are beyond full, don't glare daggers when half my tray falls to the floor, including fun things like ketchup. I'll try to pick up after myself, but I'm not about to stick my arm into the nasty trash cubby to make space for my tray.

Every BK I go to is like that. Every last one.

My little cousin will leave her trash on the table when she goes to a fast food place. Her house is littered with trash. Mom and I went there several times over the past two weeks to clean it up so we can have Christmas there (her house is centrally located).

I Hate when people think cleaning up their own mess is something to be ovoided....the other day i took mini reb to Maccy D's and the place was packed out so we did a few tours before we found a place....it was mother and 2 daughters....they just left all their crud where it dropped on the table and walked out. I scooped it all onto the 2 trays that were there and at the time one of the employees came over and offered to help so i gave her the trays full.

I always clean up after me and my my kids, i just dont get this whole its our mess but its not our problem thing
We are the willing, led by the unknowing, doing the impossible, for the ungrateful, we have now done so much, for so long - for so many, with so little, we can now do anything with nothing!!!

I usually see this happen every time I go to Wendy's. I guess people still don't understand that even though they used to clear the tables for you, they haven't in about 15 years now.
