customersruinmylife's post (http://www.customerssuck.com/board/s...ad.php?t=74247) reminded me of this.

I dropped my car off at the garage a few nights ago at about 9pm, because it was easier than taking it in the morning and my house is within walking distance (it was booked in for a service first thing the next day). As I was going up to the door to post the keys through the letterbox (in a sealed envelope with the registration number written on it), I saw there was a man peering through the door and rattling the handle. He then hit the door with his hands. I slid round him and posted my keys through. He told me he had to collect his car. I pointed out that the opening hours clearly displayed on the door said that the garage shut at 6pm. His response was 'but... I need my car!!!!'

Yes. Yes you do. I suggest that you should have made the time to collect it beforehand...

I use that garage a lot and know that the minute they finish any work on your vehicle they ring you immediately, so he knew exactly when it was ready but decided to only amble over when HE was good and ready. Doh. When I left he was still trying the door handle and stomping his feet.

And just how the heck was he planning to get his car anyway? Anyone who could release it to him had gone home 3 hours earlier! Just a little logic would tell him he ain't gonna get it.

Laughs at your quote, "Mudd's Women, prolly one of the best episodes of the original series. If you want to read something funny, see if you can find a copy of the Mudd stories, i think James Blish was the one that wrote it. It collects the original TOS episodes, plus an original story as they couldn't secure the rights to the cartoon's Mudd episode IIRC. In it Mudd is buying up the galaxy's dilithium crystals as the East Indian Trading Co. amongst other names, and traveling in his ship, the Interstella."
